Biography
Born in Srinagar, Kashmir, Aamir Bashir is an actor and director based in Mumbai, India. After studying history and law in Delhi, he worked in television as a news correspondent and travel show
host. He moved to Mumbai in 1998 to become an actor. He has acted in independent films, including Clever and Lonely, Split Wide Open, The Great Indian Butterfly and the award-winning Frozen. He earned a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the Screen Awards 2009 for A Wednesday. Harud (Autumn) is his first venture as writer, director and producer.
