BiographyJorge Weller (Buenos Aires, 1955) studied in Buenos Aires and Tel Aviv. He immigrated to Israel in 1978 and produced several TV shows and films for the Israeli television, including the award-winning Like a Fish Out of Water (2007). His television work was shown during more than fifty Jewish film festivals in the United States, Europe, South America and elsewhere. His documentary Mi telenovela personal, which he wrote and filmed, was viewed at New York’s International Film Festival and Los Angeles’ Israel Film Festival. The comedy Salsa Tel Aviv (2011) is his feature film debut.
