A quiet journey to a forsaken land, where hunger turns the human heart into a desert, and one person’s misfortune may become someone else’s salvation. This short without dialogue was the winner of the Golden Lion Award at the Venice Film Festival in 2008. According to the jury, director Carlos Armella manages to tell a dramatic story that takes place off-screen, in just a few minutes.
