Biography Rodrigo Plá (1968, Montevideo, Uruguay) was born in Uruguay but moved at the age of 11 with his parents to Mexico City. There he studied film at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica. Some of his most prominent short films are Novia Mia (1995), El ojo en la nuca (2000), and 30/30 (2010), the latter being part of the feature length film Revolucion, directed by a group of filmmakers. He has also directed several, often award winning features. La demora is his third feature length film.
