Opening night in pictures
On Thursday evening the opening ceremony of World Cinema Amsterdams fifth edition took place. The festival opened with Gett, the Divorce Trial of Viviane Amsalem and both directors, Ronit and Shlomi Elkabetz, were here to celebrate with us! Take a look at the pictures by Melanie Lemahieu.
Photo report: First open air screening in the Vondelpark
Friday night the first open air screening of the festival took place in the Vondelpark Open Air Theatre. The visitors enjoyed the Brazilian thriller A Wolf at the Door (Fernando Coimbra, 2013). Photographer Romee van de Ven tells us about it in images.
